More About The Bridge Program
At Warfighter Overwatch, we take great pride in sourcing the best mental health support for our nation’s first responders and their families. We understand that the challenges faced by first responders are unique and require a specialized approach to therapy. That’s why we utilize culturally competent therapists who have a deep understanding of the experiences of first responders – because they were once first responders themselves.
Culturally competent therapists have first-hand knowledge of the stresses and challenges faced by those in public safety, and they are trained to provide therapy that is specifically tailored to the unique needs of first responders and their families. By working with therapists who have this level of expertise, first responders, departments, and families alike can be assured that they are receiving the most effective and relevant mental health support available.
First responders are trained to push through adversity, often putting the care of others before themselves and burying the trauma. We believe that by providing access to mental health resources that are relevant and effective, we can help first responders and their families heal from the traumas they have experienced and go on to lead fulfilling, healthy lives.
Please note that our Bridge Program is peer, case manager, or therapist referral only. If you or someone you know could benefit from the program, we encourage you to contact us to discuss options for referral. Our team is committed to providing the best possible care for our nation’s first responders and their families..
